Up Eudora 5.1 Without The New Account Wizard
If
it is your first time opening Eudora 5.1 you will be prompted
by the "New Account Wizard" which can guide you through the
configuration of Eudora 5.1 to both send and receive email.
If you are not prompted by the "New Account Wizard" do the
following to set up Eudora 5.1 to both send and receive email.
1. From the "Tools" pulldown menu select "Options". Fill in
the boxes as below. Replace <domainname.com> with your
account domain name. Replace <username> with your account
username.
2. Under the "Checking Mail" section select "Never" from the
"Secure Sockets when Receiving" pulldown menu.
3. Congratulations! Eudora 5.1 is now configured to both send
and receive email.
