Import Data into a Table in Dreamweaver

Step 5 - Your data has now been imported and inserted into a table. This table can now be edited like any table in Dreamweaver. In my case I had to merge the top row of cells, center some content (the 5 categories) and the title. Here is the finished table.

Step 6 - The last step is to format your table's color scheme. This is done using the - Command - Format Table... - command. The 'Format Table' dialog box appears.

This tool allows you to format a table's colors and edit several other attributes. There a number of available preset combinations available. You can select one, edit any attribute and apply it to your table.

Row Colors: Set the color for the first row. You can set a second color if you wish to alternate two colors throughout the table. The 'Alternate' drop down menu gives you several options on how to use two colors.

Top Row: These options allow you to set certain attributes for the top row; alignment, text style, text color and background color.

Left Column: The left column options include alignment and text style.

Border: Set your border thickness.

Options: The final choice is whether you want to apply attributes to TD tags instead of TR tags.

Click OK. Now you can edit the table using the 'Properties' palette. Here is my final table.
