GoLive
is Adobe's premiere Web site creation tool. Like its siblings, Photoshop and LiveMotion,
its interface uses a document window and floating palettes. This tutorial will
examine the GoLive interface, providing information on how Web sites are created.
Main Interface
The GoLive interface is very similar
to Photoshop and LiveMotion's. You have the traditional toolbar at the top, multiple
floating palettes on the right, and your document window. Click inside the yellow
rectangles to learn more details. You can also click the text links below.

Palette
Flexibility
One of the advantages in GoLive is the ability to rearrange
your palettes. You can 'tear' tab buttons from one palette to create a new floating
palette. You can also form new palettes by dragging one tab button off one palette
and on to another.
