Sometimes
you might want to combine more than one image to achieve a dream like image or
a phantom image. Using photoshop is an easy way of doing it.
| This
explains one way of implementing this look to a standard image in photoshop 5.0.
There are probably more than 2 ways to do anything in Photoshop. This just happens
to be a nice and easy way and a quick one at that. |

1.
You will need at least two images for this, one a background image and the other
the 'ghost' image. Insure that both images are in RGB mode while you are manipulating
them.

2.
Select the foreground image (the ghost image) in the Layers palette and click
and drag it directly onto the background (the second image) image.
3. Next click on the Opacity button (located on the Layer Pallet) and drag the
slider to control the intensity of the transparency.
4.
Click on the drop down list located just below the Layers tab on the Layer Pallet
and choose Screen. And that is all there is to it!
