Joining a web discussion list is a great way to share
ideas an learn from other web advertisers.
Most lists offer a choice of receiving either the normal
or digest version of the mailings. A normal version means you receive
each posting individually, whereas a digest version is one email,
made up of all the postings during that day. I recommend subscribing
to a digest version, otherwise if a list is popular, you could end
up receiving a lot of small emails from the discussion group.
The
Advertising Networks mailing list
This list discusses internet advertising networks, brokers, and representatives;
DoubleClick, FlyCast, 24/7 Media, ZuluMedia, Burst, WebRep, and dozens
of other companies. Moderated by Mark Welch of Adbility.com. Subscribe
at, adnet-l-subscribe@egroups.com.
The Online
Advertising Discussion List
This list focuses on professional discussion of online advertising
strategies, results, studies, tools, and media coverage. The list
also welcomes discussion on the related topics of online promotion
and public relations. The list encourages sharing of practical expertise
and experiences between those who buy, sell, research and develop
tools for online advertising; as well as those providing online public
relations and publicity services. Moderated by Richard Hoy of Tenagra.
Subscribe to the digest
format or the non-digest
format.
Internet
Sales Moderated Discussion List
This list provides a forum for meaningful and helpful discussion of
online sales issues by those engaged in the online sale of products
and services. The list is moderated by John Audette, president of
Multimedia Marketing Group, Inc. John strives to keep the signal-to-noise
ratio as high as possible. The List publishes the I-Sales Digest,
which is sent daily to subscribers.
That's it!
