That's an old saying that refers to the modern day 80-20 rule: "80% of your efforts will be spent getting 20% of your results".

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could reverse or switch those percentages?

Sure it would! Especially when it comes to online advertising and promotion, you'd save a ton of time.

If someone asked you right now, this very instant, which of your banner ads pulls the best response or which ad headline/title is your most effective, could you answer them immediately? Maybe.

If they asked EXACTLY what place that banner or headline worked best, would you know?

If they asked PRECISELY what banner, what ad, what title, what place and what day was your most productive and effective, could you answer them?

Probably not. But you should be able to.

You spend countless hours registering your URL's with the search engines, placing banners ads, managing your own ezine or email list, posting to link lists, submitting classified ads, trying different signature files in your emails, running message boards/forums and placing ads in ezines, all in the name of attempting to increase your site traffic. You can check to see which of your ads are pulling and which are doing nothing for you. The more you continue to do what works, and stop what doesn't, you will spend your marketing time much more efficiently.

There are other benefits too, let's say you have a free web site and you have posted it all over the Internet, and now you want to move to another free service, or get your own domain. You would just log into ROIbot, change the URL the program links to. That's it.
