-- IPOWERWEB Donates $2,500 to Local Phoenix Charity for Thanksgiving Dinners
IPOWERWEB's 100 meals will feed 600 to 800 homless in the Phoenix area
Phoenix, Ariz. (November 22, 2005) -- IPOWERWEB, Inc., a leading Website hosting provider
for small businesses, has donated $2,500 to The Real Gift Foundation for its Thanksgiving
dinner drive for homeless families in Phoenix hosted by Phoenix radio station KISS FM.
The $2,500 will supply 100 Thanksgiving meals, and each meal will feed 6 to 8 people.
The meals will be going to the families of children who attend the Thomas J. Pappas School
in Phoenix, a school for children of homeless families. Each dinner includes an 11-13 pound
turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, pie, and more.
IPOWERWEB has been in the process of moving its headquarters to the Phoenix area this year
and is happy to start contributing back to its new community. "When I heard on the radio
that The Real Gift Foundation hadn't reached its goal yet, I knew we had to help," says
Thomas Gorny, CEO of IPOWERWEB. "If we need to contribute more to help them reach their goal,
we'll do that, too. It is very important that we support people in need in our new
community."
