Specifically for NOT hooking up with you all the
FIRST time I needed a Web Host.
In the past 24 hours, I've called with several
DUH! questions. I've spoken with Tong and Ken
and neither of them treated me like the idiot
I really am.
UPDATE: Ken YOU Kick A**! Moving my Upload directory
one level closer to the public_html directory
NAILED IT! I have pictures! WOO-HOO!
As for feedback...just keep doing what you're
doing. It works for me!

After several years with Mindspring/Earthlink
as my website's host, I just switched to IPOWERWEB
and I'm delighted with the service, support, and
price. Compared to my Earthlink/Mindspring host
service, your user interface (Account Control
Panel) is much easier and faster to use, you have
a lot more features available without the nickle
and dime add-on options cost, and your tech people
are quite competent and enthusiastic. Your domain
transfer group made the transfer seamless and
quick. The worst part of the experience of switching
is that I'm now ashamed that I didn't do my homework
and find out about you guys years ago, since I
was paying multiples more and getting much less
for my Earthlink/Mindspring hosting.
Now all I have to do is figure out how I'm gonna
use the additional hosting features you provide
(things I've never used before) to enhance my
consulting practice and sell more books and workshops.
Thanks to you for a great service and thanks to
Jeff Levy (KFI radio in Los Angeles) for bringing
you folks to IPOWERWEB to my attention!

IPOWERWEB is my provider of choice. As a web
designer, and reseller you offer the best value/dollar
ratio of any host available. The only thing that
would be a welcome addition would be a choice
of databases. MySQL is good (for many things)
however, certain applications obviously require
a more complete SQL implementation than MySQL
offers. I am curious if there has been any thought
given to making Firebird available as a second
database option. It is also free software, but
offers a much more complete SQL
implementation, as well as including support for
stored procedures and more stable support for
transactions. I have enjoyed working with IPOWERWEB
in the past, and look forward to the time I set
up my next client. You have always seemed willing
to add software I require for my clients website
needs in the past, so I thought I would mention
this thought. Though I do not have a direct need
for it immediately, I forsee having a need for
transactions and possibly stored procedures in
the near (within a year) future.
